The 2024 Middleton Cup Trophy continues to be a round robin group of 5 Counties There will be a trial at 10.00am on Sunday 12 May at Banister Park BC This season we have the following matches: Saturday 1 June - Please see link below for details of the selected team The result of the match was a 129 shots to 102 win and by 20 points to 2 Saturday 15 June - Please see link below for details of the selected team The result of the match was a 127 shots to 112 win and by 18 points to 4 Saturday 22 June - Please see link below for details of the selected team The result of the match was a defeat by 108 shots to 123 and 6 points to 16 This leaves us second in the group on 44 points behind Surrey who have completed all their matches on 66 points To qualify but we will need to win all 22 points and by a margin of 83 shots in our final match against Bowls Isle of Wight Saturday 6 July - Pleas see link below for details of the selected team In an amazing performance the result of the match was a 179 shots to 63 victory to finish on 66 points and pip Surrey with a better shot difference That means we will now play Buckinghamshire in the Regional Quarter final on Saturday 20 July for a place at Leamington The match will be played at Desborough BC starting at 11.30am Please see link below for details of the selected team The result of the match was a narrow loss by 117 shots to 120 |
