2021 Home Counties Senior League (Men)

Bowls Hampshire has joined the Men’s Home Counties Senior League and in 2021 were due to play three matches, each of six rinks, in the league plus provide a single rink for each of the Association matches which are all detailed below

The League has been cancelled this season because of the restriction in play before 21 June and replaced by a knock out competition

In the quarter final we are drawn at home against Middlesex
on Saturday 17 July

The result of the match was a win for Hampshire by 126 shots to 108

That puts us through to the semi final on Saturday 14 August when we will be away against Surrey County BA

The result of the match was a 122 - 108 win for Hampshire to reach the final

We now play Sussex in the final at Egham BC

Home Counties Final – Egham – Sussex v Hampshire

There was a slow start by Hampshire in the final, being 8 shots behind after 10 ends on the 6 rinks. However this gap remained fairly constant throughout the morning with Sussex eventually coming out on top with a win by 4 shots
