2013 Middleton Cup (Men) |

Bowls Hampshire began its 2013 Middleton Cup campaign with a Trial Match at Atherley BC on 5 May. Players participating in this game were chosen by the Middleton Cup Manager following recommendations from Divisional Selection Committees and four chosen Assessors, one from each Area. The Manager invited Colin Moore, Bob Fawcett, Alan Jones and Peter Shearing to be his Assessors. Players were drawn mainly from those who achieved success in 2012 and were not in the 2012 squad although some 2012 players will also participate. The trial team can be seen by clicking here Following this first Trial, the Manager has, with advice from his Assessors, selected a team to play in a Trial match, against Buckinghamshire, at Iver Heath BC on 12 May at 10:15.
